Children’s Bay Cay, Exuma – Environmental Impact Assessment and Environmental Management Plan and environmental oversight as per EMP requirements

Project involved assessment of the environmental impacts from a luxury home development. The project occurred on a 176-acre cay and consisted of 11 residential lots and a small marina of about 20 slips. Tasks involved assessment of terrestrial and marine impacts to develop the EIA, recommendations for changes in design to minimize footprint and negative environmental impacts, and development of an EMP based on project impacts and recommended mitigation methodologies. SEV was the Project Lead and responsible for coordinating all fieldwork as well as completing some of the fieldwork, liaising with Government agencies and ensuring deliverables were made in a timely manner.
