Feasibility Studies for Natural Gas in the Caribbean – Socio-Environmental Impact and Risk Assessment

Funded by the Inter-American Development Bank, the project seeks to determine the feasibility of natural gas as an energy source for the Caribbean. SEV is responsible for preparation of a socio-environmental impact and risk assessment for the project as well as assisting with data collection specific to The Bahamas. SEV is also tasked to assist with developing a strategy to implement the selected scenario for introduction of natural gas in the Caribbean Region inclusive of mitigation measures for any negative socio-environmental impacts.
