Lynden Pindling International Airport, New Providence – Environmental Management Planning and Monitoring

Project involves review of the Environmental Management Plan for the LPIA Expansion Project, a $400 Million project spanning five and a half years, and recommendations for changes to improve the environmental management regime for the project. SEV also monitors the construction activities of the project, inclusive of terminal building construction, infrastructure installation, construction of parking for vehicles and aircraft, disposal of construction waste, and health and safety of construction workers, to ensure compliance with the EMP and international and Bahamian legislation, regulations and guidelines. The monitoring occurs on a weekly basis and involves site inspections, completion of environmental checklists, submission of weekly reports and monthly reports.
